Since opening our doors, The Cottage and Castle has achieved a perfect balance between perfect luxury and simple convenience. Situated in the heart of town, we provide everything you need to enjoy your stay.
Choice of hot breakfast $35 for 2 people per night -complimentary coffee and pastries in the cottage
We can accommodate any special dietary requirements, please inform us when you book
Check in 4pm / Check out 11am
Guests arriving outside of this window without prior arrangement will incur a $35/hr surcharge.
No pets - one happy friendly dog already lives on the property. 
 Steps from the beach 
Each room has a private bathroom
A/C in Cowichan, Ocean room and the Camelot suite
Soaker tubs in the Garden room and the Camelot suite 
Must provide government ID and credit card
Quiet time in the Cottage 11pm till 7am
The Cottage is an old Victorian style house built in 1910
The Castle is a separate building also built in about 1910. Was originally a house that has been remodelled into a castle 
Adult children are most welcomed
No children under 12 or infants
Walking distance to downtown, restaurants, and shopping
Located in Old town Chemainus
Cancellation Policy 
CANCELLATIONS: IMPORTANT! Due to our intimate size, cancellations affect us significantly. Consequently, we adhere to an extremely strict cancellation policy. All cancellations are charged a 10% processing fee   Cancellations made within 5 days of arrival are non-refundable unless we are able to rebook by another guest- a full refund will be made. In an effort to be consistent and fair to all guests, cancellations made due to fire, acts of God or emergency situations will be taken into consideration. PLEASE be incredibly careful in making your reservations to avoid any unnecessary cancellation charges. 
ALL CANCELLATION REQUESTS MUST BE RECEIVED BY EMAIL OR PHONE.  We will send you confirmation of the cancellation via email for your records.  If you do not receive a cancellation email, it is your responsibility to contact us by phone to ensure that your reservation has been cancelled and request the email cancellation notice. 
ATTENTION: We have a ZERO CANCELLATION POLICY for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
